Museum Opens July 1

The Yellowstone Gateway Museum will open to the public on Wednesday, July 1. Visitors must follow social distancing guidelines and wear masks when entering the museum. Museum exhibits will be open from Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are asked to pay admission or make purchases using a credit or debit card. Visitors may also call ahead and pay with a card.

Special COVID-19 precautions are being taken at the museum. Visitor contact information will be gathered in case someone tests positive, prompting the need for contact tracing. Browsing and handling merchandise in the museum store will not be allowed; however, purchases can be made using a credit or debit card. Hand sanitizer will be strategically placed throughout the building. Because of limited staff, public restrooms are closed.

The galleries will be one-way traffic only. Social distancing still applies to non-family groups. Museum staff may limit capacity if necessary.
